Commission C and TAPD Review Regional Development Work Plans 2021

Jakarta Council (DPRD) Commission C together with Regional Government Budget Team (TAPD) held meeting on Wednesday (6/3) to discuss about Regional Development Work Plans (RKPD) 2021.

We discuss about the approximate amount of budget ceiling in 2021

Jakarta Commission C Vice Chairperson, Rasyidi H.Y. mentioned, through this meeting, his side wanted to know indicative budget ceiling and regional revenue.

"We discuss about the approximate amount of budget ceiling in 2021. How much is the expenditure, is it balance or not," he conveyed.

In this meeting, TAPD showed the projection of City Budget (APBD) 2021 as much as Rp 63 trillion while for tax revenue in APBD 2021 is targeted around Rp 37 trillion.

According to him, his side and TAPD are still reviewing the figures thus it is possible to add or reduce the amount based on the projected economic growth and inflation in Jakarta in 2020-2021.

"We want them to increase the amount because we expect no more pandemic and economy can run well. Even, there is legislator who want budget ceiling the same amount as in 2020. But we haven't ensured it yet," he conveyed.
